Grass Bench, Surrey

Having constructed the garden, we were asked to create a sitting area from which to enjoy it.

The bench is made entirely from soil and turf. The wood inlay was to prevent sitting on the damp soil.

A mini herb garden is on the top of the seat. Allowing the mint to be cut straight into a glass of Pimm's in the summer.
